My friends from university visited me in Shonan, Kanagawa, (湘南、神奈川県) and they stayed in the area for a few days. I took them to see the beach area, and Enoshima (江の島) — a small island off the coast that is connected to the mainland by a walkway bridge. I used to always play in the area when I was young, and it brought back a lot of memories visiting the familiar places.
