On my second week in Japan, I visited a friend in Kitakyushu (北九州）. He works for Toto now, and showed us around the area. We got to see the area and visited the Kokura Castle (小倉城) too. The atmosphere in Kitakyshu is very different from Tokyo, and it made for a very relaxing weekend.
